Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to support a long-term contract opportunity with a company based in Camden, New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone who can manage high-volume payroll activities with accuracy, stay current with payroll regulations, and handle employee deductions such as garnishments with confidence. The position requires someone who is detail oriented and comfortable working across multi-state payroll environments and using ADP Workforce Now to ensure timely and compliant payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle payroll for a large employee population, ensuring all pay is calculated accurately and distributed on schedule.
- Administer multi-state payroll activities while maintaining compliance with applicable wage, tax, and labor requirements.
- Review, enter, and manage garnishments, deductions, and other payroll adjustments with a high level of precision.
- Maintain payroll records and audit payroll data regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies before final processing.
- Use ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll transactions, reporting, and employee pay-related updates.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to address payroll questions, research issues, and provide timely resolution.
- Support payroll reporting and reconciliation efforts to help ensure accurate financial and employee records.
