The Payroll Clerk is responsible for performing essential administrative and operational support functions within the Payroll Department. This position ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll related documentation, check distribution, garnishment administration, and internal communications. The Payroll Clerk serves as a key on-site resource, maintaining physical controls, document integrity, and supporting compliance driven payroll processes. This position will be on-site five days per week, Duties Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including confidential employee documentation Support payroll filing, document retention, and record organization in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines Receive, log, and route wage garnishment orders, IRS lock in letters, and related legal documents Transmit garnishment orders to ADP timely and accurately Support reconciliation of garnishment payments and resolving discrepancies Assist payroll team with administrative reporting and data entry Support payroll calendar management and workflow tracking Assist with internal audits, documentation requests, and compliance initiatives Support special projects as assigned and other duties as required Qualifications High School Diploma 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in payroll, finance, or HR Experience working with payroll systems Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills Ability to handle and manage confidential information with discretion Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbalBenefits and Perks:
