Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Process and administer payroll for employees Maintain employee personnel files and HR records Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee paperwork Administer employee benefits and respond to employee inquiries Manage leave administration, including
FMLA, ADA
accommodations, short-term disability, and other protected leaves Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding activities Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment requirements Maintain accurate records and prepare HR-related reports Provide support on employee relations and HR initiatives Workers' Compensation administration Drug & Alcohol Testing / DOT compliance (if they'll inherit that) Benefits open enrollment Employee relations and investigations
Qualifications:
Experience in payroll processing and human resources required Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, leave administration, and employment law preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll software Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive wages Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective on first day of employment Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive team environment
