Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join their team. As Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll. This is a critical role. Duties of Construction payroll admin
  • Process payroll for all employees
  • Calculate and process employee hours, overtime, bonuses, and other compensation.
  • Review and verify accuracy of payroll data before processing
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
  • Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Prepare payroll reports for management as needed
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and compliance with company policies
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and best practices Qualifications of Construction Payroll Admin
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience of 1+ years as a Payroll Administrator etc in similar industry
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts and double-entry bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and other payroll software preferred but client can train on it.
  • Familiarity with journal entries and corporate accounting principles preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
