Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join their team. As Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll. This is a critical role. Duties of Construction payroll admin
- Process payroll for all employees
- Calculate and process employee hours, overtime, bonuses, and other compensation.
- Review and verify accuracy of payroll data before processing
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Prepare payroll reports for management as needed
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and compliance with company policies
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and best practices Qualifications of Construction Payroll Admin
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience of 1+ years as a Payroll Administrator etc in similar industry
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and double-entry bookkeeping
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and other payroll software preferred but client can train on it.
- Familiarity with journal entries and corporate accounting principles preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
