Job Overview:
NEXTGEN FIBER TECHNOLOGIES LLC
is actively seeking experienced Fiber Installers to join our dynamic contracting team across the East Coast and Midwest markets. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity for professionals with a background in fiber installation and repair, offering high earning potential and consistent work.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and repair fiber services for residential customers. Connect fiber lines at the HUB and within aerial or underground terminals. Work in lofts to splice/connect drops and extend service to the home. Install and secure exterior and interior cabling. Program and configure customer premises equipment (CPE). Provide customers with a walkthrough of installed services and basic troubleshooting tips. Complete assigned routes independently and on time, while meeting quality standards.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in fiber installation or telecommunications fieldwork. Must have a work truck equipped with ladder racks. Must possess all necessary tools and equipment prior to receiving work. Must be able to communicate clearly in English. Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
