Full Job Description Payroll & Benefits Manager Location:
Kettering, OH & West Chester, OH Compensation:
Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits & 401(k) Day 1 We're looking for an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead payroll and benefits administration across multiple U.S. locations. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows multi-state payroll, ADP Workforce Now, payroll compliance, payroll taxes, employee benefits, and 401(k) administration. What You'll Do Payroll — Primary Focus Manage accurate, timely payroll for multiple locations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Manage payroll taxes, reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processing. Review and resolve payroll discrepancies, deductions, garnishments, bonuses, PTO, overtime, and pay changes. Partner with Finance and facility leaders on payroll reporting and issues. Serve as the payroll subject matter expert. Improve payroll processes and ADP Workforce Now utilization. Benefits Administration Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other employee benefits. Manage benefit deductions and invoice reconciliation. Partner with brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators. Support FMLA, ACA, COBRA, leave administration, and 401(k). Coordinate Open Enrollment and employee benefit communications. Resolve employee payroll and benefits questions. Systems & Reporting Serve as the primary payroll and benefits resource for ADP Workforce Now. Maintain accurate payroll and benefits data. Prepare payroll, benefits, and management reports. Support audits, compliance, and process improvements. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or related field. 3+ years of multi-location or multi-state payroll experience. 3+ years of employee benefits administration experience. Advanced ADP Workforce Now experience. Strong payroll tax and year-end processing experience. Knowledge of
ACA, COBRA, FMLA, 401
(k), payroll compliance, and leave administration . Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage confidential information and strict payroll deadlines.
