Payroll Specialist Marysville |$45,000 - $49,000 About the Opportunity Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where every paycheck matters? We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join a growing team and take ownership of weekly payroll for approximately 90 employees. This Payroll Specialist role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with different pay structures, researching discrepancies, communicating directly with employees and drivers, and keeping payroll accurate from start to finish. What You'll Do As a Payroll Specialist , you will: Process weekly payroll for approximately 90 employees using the GMS system. Review electronic timesheets for hourly associates, shop employees, and mechanics. Calculate sales commissions based on weekly revenue. Process driver payroll using TMS software, assigned rates, and a three-tiered mileage structure. Calculate mileage pay and minimum-pay requirements using an external spreadsheet. Calculate broker commissions. Calculate compensation for approximately 25 owner operators based on a percentage of revenue. Provide payroll information and calculations to the CFO. Complete additional data entry and payroll-related tasks as needed. What We're Looking For The ideal Payroll Specialist will have: 2+ years of payroll experience. Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through. The ability to research payroll discrepancies and determine why an employee may have been paid incorrectly. Strong communication skills and confidence communicating with drivers and employees. The ability to work with multiple pay structures and compensation calculations. Ability to remain professional and solution-oriented when handling payroll questions or concerns.
