Payroll Specialist Location:

Your Impact As a Payroll Specialist, you will own the end-to-end execution of weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience. Your work directly supports organizational growth by maintaining data integrity, resolving complex payroll issues, and strengthening timekeeping and payroll processes. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Execute and audit weekly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with wage-hour laws and company policies Review and validate timekeeping data, including overtime, shift differentials, and PTO Manage payroll changes such as deductions, tax updates, garnishments, and direct deposit entries Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, including off-cycle payroll processing when needed Serve as the first point of contact for employee payroll and timekeeping inquiries Maintain and optimize Paycor system configurations in partnership with leadership Support payroll tax reporting, 401(k) validation, and internal/external audits Analyze payroll trends and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and scalability Develop documentation, SOPs, and training materials for payroll and timekeeping processes Qualifications 2-4 years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and timekeeping Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Paycor preferred) Advanced Excel and analytical skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset Ability to handle confidential information Benefits Competitive salary and performance bonus (if applicable) Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan with company match Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance First time homebuyer program (if applicable) Collaborative, high-energy workplace Our Core Values Safety Inclusion Speed Innovation Judgment Accountability Job Application Notice Accelevation LLC does not ask for payment or sensitive personal details, such as bank account or Social Security numbers, during the job application process.
