Job Description

Payroll Processor Are you a payroll pro who loves getting the details right? We're growing, and we're looking for a Payroll Processor to join the Surety HR team! Surety HR is a family-owned and operated company that believes in building strong relationships—with our clients, our employees, and our community. We're expanding in a big way and are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys the fast-paced world of payroll. If you have experience processing high-volume W-2 payroll and know your way around payroll from start to finish, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Process end-to-end, high-volume payroll for assigned clients Maintain and review payroll records, including direct deposits, benefit deductions, garnishments, taxes, and other payroll deductions Verify employee timecards and payroll entries for accuracy Work directly with clients to make payroll adjustments and resolve questions Review payroll reports and identify and correct discrepancies Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time Assist with year-end payroll processing, including auditing records and preparing/issuing W-2s Handle a variety of general payroll department responsibilities
What We're Looking For Must Have:
Previous W-2 payroll processing experience Experience processing high-volume payroll Strong understanding of payroll procedures, taxes, compliance, and best practices Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
Preferred:
