We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator / Payroll Specialist to join our team onsite in Willoughby, OH. To be successful in this role, you'll bring strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines with confidence. You'll need a solid understanding of payroll processes and enjoy working with data, records, and employee information while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Qualified candidates should have:
High school diploma or equivalent Two to three years of payroll experience preferred Construction industry and/or union payroll experience preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows-based systems Excellent math aptitude and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality What drives us

As an hourly non-exempt Payroll Administrator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our field employees are paid accurately and on time each week. Working closely with Field Operations Managers, Accounting, and Human Resources, you'll process weekly payroll, upload and verify timesheet information, review work order tickets, and maintain accurate payroll records. You'll assist with onboarding new employees into our payroll system, coordinate payroll-related paperwork, and manage employee records and information updates. In this position, you'll also be responsible for administering union classifications and pay rates, calculating retroactive pay adjustments and garnishments, issuing weekly direct deposit notifications, and handling employment verification requests. You'll support unemployment claim administration, track payroll reporting documentation, maintain payroll files, and help ensure compliance with company processes and payroll regulations. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy will help support the hardworking employees who build our projects while contributing to the continued success of Marous Brothers Construction.
