Corporate Office Position Summary The Payroll Specialist II independently manages payroll processing responsibilities and ensures accurate payroll execution, issue resolution, and reconciliation. This role requires minimal supervision and strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities Independently process payroll transactions and adjustments Review timekeeping and compensation data Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies Support reporting and reconciliations Ensure deadlines are met Participate in cross-training and process improvements Success Profile Works independently with high accuracy Resolves most issues without escalation Meets deadlines consistently Demonstrates strong payroll knowledge Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy rate of about 98.5% Timely payroll processing Issue resolution effectiveness Productivity levels Minimum Qualifications forConsiderations:
High School Education or Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 2 or 3 years experience in payroll processing preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Moderate Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook), Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Strong organizational and time management skills Self-starter with detail-oriented work habits Able to maintain confidentiality Display professional demeanor Good interpersonal skills; able to work well with wide range of individuals Demonstrate dependability through good attendance, punctuality and adherence to timelines and schedules Knowledge of basic company employment policies and procedures Clear communication skills in dealing with CSC Centers, outside departments, other team members and vendors. Capable of doing general math and analytical problems. Ability to react to change productively and handle essential tasks as assigned Able and willing to continue professional developmentPhysical Requirements:
Sitting for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, and talking, hearing and visual activity. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds).Working conditions:
Normal office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copier/printer/scanners.Work Schedule:
