Job Description
Description Job Summary:
This position is responsible for carrying out a variety of payroll compliance job tasks for multiple accounts. This is a non-management role that works as part of a team, with executive debriefing and reporting responsibilities.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Successfully navigate multiple vendor systems for payroll processes, functions, and related data
- Process, edit, and transfer payroll data as requested by the client
- Complete projects related to local, state, and federal taxes
- Familiar with every facet of W-2 completion
- Knowledge of taxable and non-taxable payroll items. Examples are, but not limited to: 410k, SERP, KERP, Medical, Dental, Vision benefits, etc.
- Familiar with benefit feeds
- Process, transfer, and customize data in computer technology systems per client's request
- Professionally communicate ongoings in a debriefing function to the executive team, and clients
- Process batch edit reports in payroll
- Edit payroll grids as requested by clients
- Complete custom reports and generate reports for clients including system reports, and excel reports with pivot tables
- Conduct and assist with department new hire employee training
- Assist client's employees with technology system navigation as relates to payroll
- Process clients new hire onboardings
- Assist with job fairs, career expos, and client meetings both virtual and on-site
- Maintain confidentiality and non-disclosure of both client and company data, information, and processes; and willing to sign off on an NDA. You cannot compete with the services The Company offers.
- Provides optimal customer service to clients, client's employees, and the team alike

- Resourceful and proactive in open communication with direct rapport on compliance items, processes, decision points, inquiries, and concerns

- Stays on track with assigned tasks, maintains quality of work, and reaches targeted deadlines on time.
- Engage, support, and maintain contact with team members in a timely manner
- Thrives on providing an incredible customer experience, including face-to-face interactions with customers and team members alike
- Maintains prompt communication with clients' needs via email, and phone. Time is of the essence.
- Attends company required trainings to expand knowledgebase and skillset
- Complete project cross-checks with team members to ensure quality and accuracy of work
- Assist team members on projects on an as-needed basis as instructed by direct report
- Must maintain business professional dress code for events, expos, as well as on-site, and video conferences with clients
- Assists with exports and imports of data for TSI department
- Lead by example.
PATCH-CO
Professional, Accountable, Trustworthy, Coachable, Honest, and Company Oriented!Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Payroll, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 2+ years of direct payroll processing experience preferred, BUT NOT REQUIRED, a "motivated to learn candidate" will be considered in lieu of experience
- Proficient at typing and utilizing Microsoft Office Suite software required
- Previous experience processing payroll in technology systems required
Job Status:
- FLSA status is: Non-Exempt
- Job Type is: Full-time starting
Abilities & Physical Requirements:
- Proficient at typing and answer the telephone
- Strong ability to read, write, and compute basic math
- Ability to sit for long periods of time, up to 8+ hours per day, as needed for projects. MUST be willing to work overtime as needed and approved by CEO that fits client's account needs.
- Must be able to successfully pass a post-offer and ongoing local, federal, and global background check and drug screening throughout your employment with the company.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5PM normal business hours.
Work Location & Travel Requirements:
Corporate Headquarters:
134 S 6th Street, Indiana, PA 15701; Second location in Blairsville, PA will also be avaliable in the future for interested hires.- Occasional client on-site meetings and light daytime travel
