Job Click Here Position Summary:
The Senior Payroll Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and processing of multi-state payroll for a large employee population. This position will support payroll operations, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the processing and payment of regular and off-cycle payrolls Review and approve employee data changes to ensure accurate reporting and processing Participate in payroll system enhancement projects, including automation initiatives Process employment verifications for current and former employees Support file generation and troubleshooting for 401(k), HSA, and other benefit plans; coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve issues Respond to employee payroll inquiries Audit and reconcile data feeds to ensure accuracy and compliance Research and resolve complex payroll issues and help implement processes to mitigate risk
Qualifications:
2-3 years of multi-state payroll tax experience required; 5-7 years of payroll processing experience preferred Working knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations Experience with year-end processes, process improvements, and automation Proficiency in payroll/HCM platforms and advanced Excel skills; HRIS reporting experience preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
