Payroll Analyst Location Raleigh, North Carolina (Hybrid)Onsite:
Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to support day-to-day U.S. payroll operations in a fast-paced, multinational environment. The ideal candidate will ensure payroll data is processed accurately and in compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and labor laws. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience with Workday Payroll. Key Responsibilities Support daily U.S. payroll operations, including: New hires Employee changes Benefits updates Terminations Leave of Absence (LOA) Relocation and expatriate payroll processing Respond to employee payroll inquiries through the Employee Service Center/helpdesk ticketing system.Ensure compliance with:
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements Finance policies and Controller's Manual Federal, state, and local tax regulations Labor law requirements Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Tax, and business stakeholders. Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and data validation activities. Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely payroll processing. Support continuous improvement initiatives within payroll operations. Required Qualifications 5+ years of relevant U.S. payroll experience. Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll is required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas) Outlook Visio Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and time management skills. Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in multinational or large corporate environments. Exposure to payroll compliance, audits, and tax inquiries. Experience supporting payroll ticketing/helpdesk systems. Education No specific degree or certification required.
