Job Description

Job Overview Our Client is seeking a Payroll Analyst to assist their team with all aspects of payroll processing. This is a temp to perm position on Long Island, NY.
Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for approximately 5,000 employees, utilizing ADP Enterprise 6, ADP Workforce Manager, ADP Reporting, and Smart Compliance systems. Ensure all payroll processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with established timelines. Monitor and ensure payroll practices meet SOX compliance requirements. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current Federal, State, and Local labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll requirements. Help with investigation, resolution, and management of payroll-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with employees and management. Assist with payroll-related implementations, special projects, and troubleshooting of any issues that may arise. Process a high volume of payroll data during peak seasons while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Requirements and skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment, preferably in a multistate setting. Proven experience in payroll processing, including multistate payroll. Knowledge and familiarity of ADP payroll systems (Enterprise 6, Workforce Manager, Reporting, and Smart Compliance) is preferred. Solid understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor laws. Experience with payroll compliance, including SOX and year-end payroll processes. Ability to investigate, resolve, and manage complex payroll-related issues.

Up to $33.00 per hour
