In this vital role, you will manage payroll operations, maintain compliance with employment and labor laws, and support human resources and accounting functions. Your expertise in payroll systems, tax laws, and financial concepts will help us uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy. Duties Process payroll using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements Reconcile payroll accounts and perform general ledger entries related to payroll transactions Maintain and update employee records within HRIS platforms like PeopleSoft or Kronos, ensuring data integrity Ensure adherence to employment laws, tax regulations, and labor law compliance across all payroll activities Collaborate with HR and finance teams to handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and tax issues Manage confidential information with the utmost discretion while supporting payroll processing and audits Experience Proven experience in payroll management within a corporate accounting environment or non-profit organization Extensive knowledge of payroll systems such as Workday, Kronos, Ceridian, or ADP supported by technical proficiency in payroll software Strong understanding of employment law, tax law, labor law compliance, and financial concepts related to payroll processing Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation Skilled in using spreadsheets, accounting software like QuickBooks or similar platforms for analysis and reporting purposes Experience handling confidential information with integrity while managing payroll tax filings and audits Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail in managing complex payroll processes Join us as a Payroll Coordinator to ensure seamless payroll operations that support our organization's success.
