This role requires handling payroll processing on a weekly cadence, specifically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a midday cutoff. Responsibilities Process weekly payroll for assigned accounts, ensuring all deadlines are met. Pull payroll/time reports and perform reconciliations and payroll audits. Run time uploads, validate timecard data, and support BMS/timecard processes for the RIQ Via account. Process payroll adjustments, corrections, and off-cycle needs as required. Complete weekly new starts and collaborate with internal teams such as Employee Relations and Onboarding/HR partners. Provide timely internal communication, responses, and issue resolution related to payroll. Maintain day-to-day account ownership and support for payroll accounts within the assigned book of business. Essential Skills Experience in payroll processing and data entry. Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers. Auditing experience or a strong understanding of audit processes/controls in a payroll or high-volume, detail-oriented environment. Ability to learn quickly and ramp with limited training. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data review and reconciliation. Ability to work with firm deadlines, including a midday payroll cutoff. Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred experience in payroll processing. Experience supporting BMS accounts and pulling/validating timecards. Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills, such as pivot tables; macros are a plus. Work Environment This position is 100% remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from home. The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, including a one-hour break. Employees can be located in either the EST or CST time zone. While office proximity is not required, optional in-person training and team events may be available if you are local. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain additional payroll experience while enjoying the benefits of remote work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Troy, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
