This role will support a busy payroll function during a transitional period and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a hybrid schedule and exposure to a collaborative, team-driven culture.
Responsibilities:
Process weekly, multi-state payroll from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Enter and validate payroll data including bonuses, commissions, benefits, and other earnings Review and reconcile timekeeping data prior to payroll submission Audit payroll reports to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations Maintain and update employee payroll records, including direct deposit and tax information Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and policies with a high level of customer service
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment Prior experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work within payroll systems Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Experience supporting union payroll environments preferred
Pay Details:
