Description Senior Payroll Analyst

Position Summary:
Under general direction, this position is responsible for assisting with the accurate preparation and processing of the company's payroll , ensuring data integrity within the payroll system. The position provides both administrative and analytical support to the payroll department and is responsible for researching and resolving payroll inquiries.Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and balancing to ensure accuracy and compliance Support the transition to Workday, including testing, validation, and post-implementation support Support pension plan operations in coordination with third-party providers, including distributions, recordkeeping, reporting, and vendor collaboration, ensuring compliance and operational accuracy Assist with all facets of UKG Case Management System including opening and tracking outstanding cases while working with the vendor and tax authorities to ensure timely case resolution Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in federal and state payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance Develop, document, and maintain payroll procedures and workflows Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation Assist with annual audits Coordinate year end payroll processing May be called upon to handle other duties as requiredRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required Five to seven years of relevant work experience in related field Experience in payroll processing, with a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll operations Hands-on experience with payroll audits, balancing, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance Previous experience with Workday Payroll System, including implementation, configuration, or post-go-live support a plus Familiarity with pension plan regulations and coordination between payroll and third-party pension providers a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail Ability to work independently and as a team member Proficient inExcel, Word, Outlook Total Rewards:
