Payroll Specialist

Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join an established payroll team in the Greenville area. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with an innovative company, focused on growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles for multi-state employees
• Verify and ensure the accuracy of hours worked, tax withholdings, deductions, and garnishments.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports
• Assist in quarterly and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws Requirements
• Prior experience in payroll, preferably full-cycle process
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations
• Prior experience in larger payroll platforms/systems (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills to address payroll inquiries and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
