The Columbia Presbyterian Community is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellness Coordinator to join our team to create a warm hospitality experience for all our residents, staff and visitors. In this position, you will enjoy working with a passionate team to provide quality service throughout our community.
What You'll Do:
Assess and periodically reassess residents using standardized fitness tools; ensure that changes in resident wellness and fitness plans are implemented, if applicable, complete appropriate forms, records and/or reports. Consult with appropriate staff (e.g. Administrator, physician, Director of Health Services, etc.) to ensure that wellness and fitness programs meet and/or accommodate resident's medical condition and/or restrictions. Provides education to residents and their families on a variety of wellness and fitness issues, as appropriate or as requested. Develop and maintain effective and compassionate relationship with residents Ensure a safe and sanitary environment, free of hazards; ensure safety, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment. Ensure maintenance of computers accessed by residents. Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:
Associate degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or related field. Two years of experience in a fitness related field. CPR certified.
