Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Civilian Payroll Specialist and become a vital part of our financial operations! This position is contingent upon contract award.
Description:
Provides civilian payroll support toUSARCENT G1
in support of civilian personnel and human resources operations. Reviews, processes, tracks, and reconciles payroll-related actions and documentation to support accurate and timely civilian pay administration. Researches payroll issues and discrepancies, coordinates resolution of payroll actions with appropriate Government personnel and organizations, and maintains accurate payroll records and supporting documentation. Assists with payroll reporting, reconciliation, data analysis, and other administrative requirements supportingUSARCENT
civilian personnel operations. Protects sensitive personnel and payroll information and performs duties in accordance with applicable Government policies, procedures, and requirements.Experience:
Must posess 5-7 years of relevant civilian or Government payroll experience preferred. Knowledge of payroll processing, reconciliation, reporting, and applicable payroll requirements preferred. Experience researching and resolving payroll discrepancies preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate payroll records and documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other applicable payroll or personnel systems preferred. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred, but not required. Must posess active secret clearance. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain required Government access and credentials, including a Common Access Card (CAC), and comply with applicable DoD, Army, installation, information assurance, security, and training requirements.
