Job Description

The Payroll Coordinator reports to the Payroll Supervisor and assists with the execution of the weekly payroll processes and employee paperwork relating to new hires, rehires and transfers. This role assists in auditing, reporting, and coordinating pay for three companies (TEiC, PPD and RCL) field employees nationwide. Essential Functions Audits data entry of personnel transactions into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) (Costpoint). Includes but not limited to new hire entry, rehires, and personnel changes. Coordinates with field administration to ensure all time is entered according to deadlines and required paperwork has been received. Audits Leave accruals and balances for new hires, rehires and terminations. (PTO, SKT and FLT) Audits Holiday after labor is processed. Weekly review and coordination of time entry to ensure deadlines are met. Daily audits of payroll and timekeeping data- pre and post processing Assists with multiple payrolls across multiple states on a weekly basis from time importation to check distribution. Assists with the payroll garnishment process. Collaborates with employees on banking set up issues Executes various weekly reports from system and supplies to internal and external personnel; including but not limited to Certified Payroll and IRA reporting requirements. Requirements Associates or bachelor's degree in accounting. 3+ years of full cycle mult-state payroll processing experience. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to accurately execute high volume of data entry daily. Understanding of accounting terminology including
SUTA, FUTA, FLSA
status, general ledger reconciliations, debits, and credits. Organized and detail oriented with an ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organization, problem solving, and customer service skills. High volume payroll processing experience required. Experience processing multi-state payroll and familiarity with differing state taxes.
