The Position The Senior Payroll Representative processes payroll transactions for the current and future associates in accordance with company policies and government regulations. This position involves daily interaction with associates within the office and via telephone or email. It also involves some interaction with third party vendors. The Job
- Review approved and unapproved time, and research and resolve issues.
- Process exception pay, including bonuses, commissions, etc.
- Review biweekly and off-cycle payroll transactions, research and resolve issues.
- Process garnishments as needed.
- Provide timely responses to associate questions and requests with a high level of customer service.
- Assist in developing procedural improvements within Payroll.
- Assist with system testing as necessary.
- File payroll documents.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance Business or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of related payroll experience in healthcare field
- 2 years of experience in multi- state payroll preferred, including CA and PA
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels throughout the organization.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, especially in Excel.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, ADP or Ultipro preferred.
