The Coordinator, Payroll Services provides administrative, and operations support to the payroll services team to help ensure timely, accurate and complaint payroll, payroll tax, and payroll systems processing. This essential role will provide departmental support at the Addison, TX office including data entry, overseeing incoming mail, scanning, and linking documentation to employee records, providing customer support and supporting payroll projects and audits. The Coordinator, Payroll Services serves as a key customer support between payroll, human resources, managers, and other business partners while maintaining confidentiality and delivery exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Support daily payroll department operations and administrative activities to support payroll department deadlines, such as wage garnishments, payroll tax correspondence, employment verifications, and payroll department data requests. Receive, sort, scan and link incoming mail and payroll-related documents to the appropriate employee records. Support departmental Service Now tickets, such as organizational hierarchy, Oracle EBS, and UKG ProWFM. Support of payroll projects such as quarterly deadlines, year-end and departmental initiatives, milestones, and action items. Assist with departmental shared mailboxes, ensuring timely routing and resolution of employee inquiries. Assist with testing of payroll system enhancements, updates and process improvements. Supports the mission and direction of the organization. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED Associate's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience is preferred In lieu of higher education, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice-versa. Customarily has at least three (3) years of experience in payroll, human resources, finance, accounting or administrative coordination experience. Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative and Flexibility Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies Foundational knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, payroll tax and payroll practices. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement. Exposure to Oracle and UKG Pro WFM a plus. Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, Access.
