Job Description

Payroll Administrator A growing engineering and infrastructure firm in Northwest Houston is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity supporting payroll operations in a collaborative and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have prior payroll or accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities of the
Payroll Administrator:
Process onboarding and payroll setup for new employees Review employee timecards and expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation activities Post payroll-related general ledger entries Track and reconcile Paid Time Off (PTO) balances Process salary adjustments and compensation changes Respond to payroll-related inquiries and documentation requests Generate payroll and reporting documentation as needed Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications of the
Payroll Administrator:
2–5 years of payroll or accounting experience Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent organization and time-management abilities Ability to handle confidential information professionally Paychex Flex or similar payroll systems Microsoft Office Suite Deltek Vision experience is a plus If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your payroll career within a stable and team-oriented company, we'd love to hear from you. #
