The Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. This role manages a high volume of employee inquiries, providing clear, courteous, and detailed responses to employees at all levels while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with payroll processes.Reports to:
Payroll Supervisor Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll administration experience, including multi-state payroll processing Strong analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, meeting required deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designationWorking Conditions:
This position operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods. Routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, filing cabinetsSupervisory Responsibilities:

The Payroll Administrator will be required to interact with employees of CED locations as well as corporate level management both verbally and in writing. Additional functions include but are not limited to: Process employee data (new hires, terminations, employee changes) in HRIS system Strong understanding of multi-state taxation, reciprocity agreements, and state/local reporting requirements High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies Ability to manage a high volume of employee inquiries in a deadline-driven environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-service focus Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Strong organizational and time-management skills Assist employees with inquiries regarding payroll and time reporting CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer•Disability |Veteran Other Compensation:
