Job Description
Our client is seeking a hands-on Payroll & HR Generalist to oversee payroll processing and support key HR functions for a workforce of approximately 180-185 employees. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing payroll administration with employee relations, benefits support, and day-to-day HR operations.
This is a critical role within the organization, as there is currently no dedicated payroll backup. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll for approximately 180-185 hourly and salaried employees.
Manage payroll data, timekeeping, deductions, and employee records within QuickBooks.
Administer payroll-related activities, including 401(k) contributions and payroll adjustments.
Support employee relations and respond to employee payroll and HR inquiries.
Assist with benefits administration, including Benefits Exchange.
Coordinate and manage workers' compensation processes.
Maintain compliance with payroll, employment, and HR policies and procedures.
Partner with leadership on day-to-day HR operations and employee support.
