Controller Job Summary Gregg Orr Auto Collection is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for processing new hires, administering insurance benefits, and accurately processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and prior payroll or financial experience. Key Responsibilities Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll in an accurate and timely manner Process new hires and maintain employee payroll records Administer insurance enrollments and assist with determining eligibility for benefit plans Process and verify pay plan calculations, including commission and incentive-based compensation Ensure payroll calculations and withholdings are accurate and properly documented Maintain payroll records and reports Collaborate with internal departments to develop or modify pay plans Monitor payroll and benefit programs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Qualifications & Experience 2-4 years of payroll or financial experience preferred Reynolds & Reynolds software experience preferred Automotive or marine industry experience is a plus Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Competencies Analytical thinking Strong organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information Effective written and verbal communication Employment Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States Must perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, including background check, MVR, drug test, and possess a valid driver's license Why Work With Gregg Orr Auto Collection Gregg Orr Auto Collection is a well-established and growing organization committed to operational excellence, integrity, and professional development.
