Job Description

What to Expect The Payroll Team will be responsible for all aspects of processing North America Payroll. They will report to the Senior Payroll Manager and be based in one of our main processing locations. This individual will be responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of a large and complex 80,000+ employee payroll. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining and updating team procedures and training. The best candidate will be a subject matter expert in North American payroll processing. Global payroll is a major plus. There is an expectation that the payroll processor will make critical and timely decisions to ensure payroll is compliant and employee concerns prioritized. Tesla's Payroll team facilitates better, faster, and more informed decision-making across the business. Business intelligence and analytics are a skillset, toolset, and mindset we use to achieve this goal. We strive for 100% payroll accuracy and timeliness on behalf of our employees and the company. What You'll Do Process payroll for 80,000+ salaried and hourly employees ensuring the accuracy of data entry and coordinating timely payments Data audit to ensure accuracy and compliance of employee pay Reconcile wages and hours.
