Job Description
A growing organization in Bellevue, WA is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. This role is a strong fit for a payroll professional who enjoys accurate data management, deadline-driven processing, employee support, and cross-functional collaboration with HR and accounting teams. The Payroll Specialist will play an important role in ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with company policies and applicable payroll regulations. This opportunity offers a supportive team environment, collaborative leadership, and the chance to contribute to payroll process improvements in a stable, professional business services setting. Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, including regular pay, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
- Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, timekeeping data, and employee pay information for accuracy.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, status changes, tax information, and direct deposit updates.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee questions, and payment issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare payroll reports and support payroll audits, reconciliations, compliance reporting, and internal review processes.
- Partner with HR, accounting, managers, and employees to support accurate payroll administration and process improvements. Compensation and Benefits
