Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Kent, Washington. This role requires expertise in managing full-cycle payroll processes for multi-state operations and a proven ability to handle complex payroll tasks with precision. Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations efficiently and accurately.
- Handle payroll for over 500 employees, maintaining meticulous records and addressing discrepancies.
- Administer garnishments and other payroll deductions in accordance with legal requirements.
- Verify timekeeping data and resolve any issues related to employee hours or payment discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
- Prepare payroll reports and analytics for management review.
- Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Provide timely responses to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related matters.
- Support audits and reconciliation processes as needed. Requirements
- Extensive experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including multi-state payroll.
- Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management.
- Demonstrated ability to handle payroll for large organizations with over 500 employees.
- Knowledge of garnishments and payroll deductions, including legal compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for collaborating across departments.
- Familiarity with payroll laws and regulations at both state and federal levels.
- Prior experience supporting payroll audits and reconciliation processes.
