Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an enriching contract opportunity supporting students' growth and communication skills in an engaging elementary school setting. Dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC certification are needed for two positions for the 2026-2027 academic year in vibrant communities near Kent, WA. Position 1 is a full school-year assignment running from September 1, 2026, through June 17, 2027. Work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:40am to 4:10pm—with a dedicated 30-minute lunch— at one welcoming elementary campus. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 45 students, making a meaningful difference throughout the year. Position 2 offers coverage during a maternity leave, starting in September and running through January, with the possibility of extension. You'll enjoy a similar 35-hour workweek and caseload at a supportive elementary school with set daily hours and a team-focused environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid WA SLP licensure and
ASHA CCC
required Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload of up to 45 students effectively Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based intervention SLPAs are not being considered for these roles
