This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to expand into a full HR Generalist role over time while gaining exposure to executive leadership. 💼 What You'll Do Payroll & HR Operations Process and audit semi-monthly/bi-weekly payroll for accuracy and compliance Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) Administer benefits (health, dental, vision, retirement) including enrollments and changes Coordinate open enrollment and serve as a first point of contact for benefits questions Track and manage leaves of absence (FMLA and state-specific) Support onboarding and offboarding, ensuring smooth employee transitions Assist with recruiting coordination including job postings and interviews Maintain HR policies, SOPs, and compliance documentation Run HR reports and support audits (EEO, AAP, etc.) Ensure compliance with WA & CA employment regulations Executive Support (CEO) Manage a complex calendar with proactive scheduling and conflict resolution Prepare and reconcile expense reports (Concur or similar) Coordinate travel arrangements and detailed itineraries Prepare presentations, briefings, and meeting materials Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal teams Support special projects and high-priority initiatives Team & Administrative Support Coordinate training sessions and HR initiatives Organize HR files and shared resources Provide general administrative support across departments Contribute to a collaborative and efficient workplace environment ✅ What You Bring Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2-4 years of HR or HR coordination experience Hands-on experience with payroll and benefits administration Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Experience with expense systems like Concur Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of discretion with confidential information Strong communication and customer-service mindset Self-starter mindset with adaptability and initiative 💡 Nice to Have Experience in medical device, biotech, or regulated industries Multi-state HR compliance knowledge (WA & CA preferred) Exposure to HR audits and compliance reporting SHRM-CP, PHR, or in progress Interest in growing into a full HR Generalist role 🌍 Work Environment You'll join a collaborative HR team supporting ~165 employees across multiple locations in a growing medical device company .
