Job Description

AGRA Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Coordinator to support our Accounting and Human Resources teams. This position is responsible for payroll processing, timekeeping administration, employee expenses, retirement contributions, petty cash management, and backup Accounts Payable support. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous payroll experience required. Previous experience with accounting, bookkeeping, administrative support, or related systems preferred. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee, payroll, and financial information. Ability to follow established procedures, meet deadlines, and identify discrepancies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Assist with payroll processing and maintain payroll records. Update employee deductions, garnishments, withholdings, and other payroll information. Process retirement contributions and related payroll deductions. Review payroll and accounting data for accuracy and report discrepancies. Reconcile and process employee expense reports. Maintain and reconcile petty cash transactions. Provide backup support for Accounts Payable functions. Prepare routine payroll and accounting reports. Assist with month-end, year-end, and audit preparation. Maintain confidentiality of payroll, employee, and financial information. Follow company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
