Job Description

Seeking an experienced payroll specialist to work part-time 20-30 hours per week in our New Berlin, WI office. We are a small accounting practice that prides itself on accuracy and producing a quality product. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, can communicate professionally with clients, and who is organized and detail-oriented. If you have at least two years of payroll processing experience, are looking for a friendly and flexible environment, and are excellent with technology, we would love to meet you. We have a dog in the office daily, so you must also be comfortable with dogs.
Responsibilities:
  • Processing payroll for multiple clients accurately and on time
  • Scheduling federal and state payroll payments
  • Processing quarterly payroll reporting
  • Processing annual payroll reporting
  • Onboarding new payroll clients
  • setting up withholding accounts, direct deposit, EFTPS, etc.
  • Setting up new employees, including withholding, direct deposit, cloud access, etc.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of payroll processing experience is essential (preferably processing of multiple company payrolls)
  • Knowledge of payroll law regarding overtime pay, health insurance, retirement pay, etc. is essential
  • Experience scheduling payroll liabilities and knowledge of payment due dates is essential.
  • Producing work that is extremely accurate is essential
  • Strong computer skills is essential
  • Excellent communication skills is essential
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online payroll is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams is a plus

$20.00
