Job Description
The eBanking Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support and expertise on eBanking products and services. This role involves troubleshooting consumer online banking (e-CHIEF) and Business online (e-CORP), assisting all eBanking customers, and maintaining all eBanking documentation. The specialist will work closely with the eBanking Officer to develop instructional materials and ensure smooth operation of eBanking systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Stay updated on the latest features and updates of eBanking products to provide accurate information and support to customers and colleagues. Assist customers in the use of all listed eBanking programs by providing step-by-step guidance and troubleshooting support for both e-CHIEF and e-CORP users. Set up new e-CORP clients and maintain existing e-CORP client requests in the applicable systems, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. Maintain proper documentation on all eBanking customers and maintenance activities, including detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions. Review reports and Audit eBanking maintenance regularly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank policies and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive customer experience. Assist the eBanking Officer with developing step-by-step instructions and training materials on eBanking products and services for department members, bank employees, and customers. Create user guides and FAQs to help bank employees and customers navigate eBanking services independently. All other duties assigned. Experience with BHBT online banking services or other online banking is preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office. Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment is beneficial. Understanding Quicken/QuickBooks interfaces is beneficial. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Willingness to volunteer for projects and follow through to completion. Familiarity with internet browser settings and troubleshooting. Ability to learn and adapt to new eBanking services and technologies. Ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation. Strong multitasking abilities to handle various customer requests. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills to assist customers effectively. Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential problems.
