Job Description
The Member Experience Specialist II provides advanced member service support while performing transactional, account servicing, and sales functions. This role assists members with account opening, consumer loan applications, digital banking support, and product recommendations while ensuring compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Open new accounts, business accounts, share certificates, IRAs, and specialty products. Initiate consumer loan applications and refer mortgage and commercial lending opportunities. Assist members with online and mobile banking support. Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, account maintenance, disputes, and stop payments. Support credit card servicing and maintenance. Promote products and services that meet member needs. Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate records. Support branch operations in a dual-control capacity. Follow security, fraud prevention, and compliance requirements. Assist with training and mentoring new team members. Qualifications 1-2 years of branch banking, credit union, or retail financial services experience. Previous Senior Teller, Universal Banker, or Lead Teller experience preferred. Notary Public certification required or ability to obtain. Credit union experience preferred. Knowledge of BSA, Reg CC, Reg E, and other banking regulations. Strong communication, attention to detail, and member service skills.
