Job Summary:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of clerical duties and monthly reporting for the Commercial Banking Department. Receives and greets visitors and vendors, records and relays messages to appropriate personnel and performs miscellaneous support functions as assigned. Also involved in community initiatives as needed to support the development of relationships in the communities the Bank serves.
Essential Functions:
Provides professional, courteous, and efficient service to all internal and external customers. Back-ups processor for customer relationship summaries. Provides daily overdraft lists with any reversal of fees requested by lenders. Monetary transactions such as online transactions, tickets and checks. Handles the preparation of the weekly courier bag pick up. Preforms clerical services such as credit reference verifications and confirmations. Customer research, department potage contact, FedEx labels, meet and greet customers and vendors. Maintains official check log and supply. Main point of contact for all Commercial leasing, loan, and deposit balances. Performs monthly reports such as New Deposit Account and Bank Sig Reports. Processes Business Manager payments, ACHs, fundings, and settlement of credit memos daily. Maintains order in the file room, sorts the mail, orders supplies, schedule service calls. Answers routine questions and replays messages and overseas electronic faxes. Preforms various administrative tasks including answering telephone calls, website submissions log and, correspondence. Scans all bookings of closed loans in the Legal File of Record program. Serves as a department subject matter expert for scanning technology. Exhibit professional behavior to maintain the Bank's image, approaches all internal and external customers in a tactful manner, and treat others with respect and consideration while maintaining confidentiality. Other Responsibilities Assists Commercial Lenders and Commercial Loan Administrators with clerical support including but not limited to registering individuals for seminars and/or events. Create customer letters and process checks as needed. Backs-up lease findings. Contribute to building a positive team spirit, Observes and complies with safety and security procedures and guidelines Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills, Experience, and Training Required:
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months of office experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous banking/commercial experience is a plus. Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word & Excel. Excellent customer service skills, good communication and public relation skills, and basic understanding of business service functions.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable. Minimal physical effort required. Normally seated with freedom of movement within the receptionist area. Handling of light materials and supplies (up to 20 pounds).
