Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing accurate and high-quality customer service in all aspects of conducting financial transactions for customers, including cashing checks, accepting deposits, selling monetary instruments, and maintaining account records. Balancing daily transactions, verifying cash totals; is constantly aware of and monitors all account transactions for suspicious activity and assists in balancing. Customer service and problem solving in all aspects of teller operations needed. Responsible for selling a full range of retail deposit products and banking services to customers and prospective customers. Maintains a portfolio of existing customers for cross selling of bank services. Follows all Bank policies, procedures and compliance regulations.
Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred. Bank experience preferred. Must have at least six months to one year cash handling experience. Additionally, usually 2 years of sales or service experience.
