Job Description

Commercial Banking Associate $60,000
  • 70,000/year Full-Time | In-Office A well-established financial institution is seeking a Commercial Banking Associate to support a team of Commercial Lenders while serving as a primary relationship contact for business banking clients.
This position is ideal for a banking professional who enjoys relationship management, operational support, and delivering high-level customer service in a professional, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to Commercial Lenders and assist with ongoing client relationship management for complex accounts
  • Serve as a primary contact for commercial banking customers, resolving account and service-related issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with commercial loan servicing, renewals, documentation collection, and exception tracking
  • Process wires, transfers, loan payments, account maintenance, and other commercial banking transactions
  • Support deposit relationship management, including overdraft monitoring, signatures, approvals, and account servicing activities
  • Coordinate with third parties such as attorneys, CPAs, and insurance representatives to obtain documentation and resolve outstanding items
  • Review loan and account documentation for completeness and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor reports and communicate potential concerns or past-due issues to lenders as needed
  • Identify opportunities to recommend additional banking products and services that support client needs
  • Maintain strong attention to operational accuracy, risk awareness, and confidentiality standards Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within banking or financial services required
  • Previous experience supporting commercial or business banking clients
  • Knowledge of treasury services, merchant services, wires, lending operations, or related banking functions
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, lending processes, and customer account servicing
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Excellent professionalism, communication skills, and customer service abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with high-touch client service
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel More about the
