Job Description

This position is responsible for basic card payments functions including, but not limited to, maintenance and processing for new, existing, and closed debit cards, as well as other related tasks or projects as required.
Primary Duties:
Order new cards and perform maintenance changes to existing cards as required. Prepare documents for ATM and POS debit card disputes or fraud situations. Notify customer service when fraud occurs and overdraft charges result. Provide customer service for all questionable transactions. Work with retail customer service staff and security officer in related card fraud situations. Monitor and analyze daily cardholder transactions to identify potential unauthorized usage; suggest and coordinate card base rule changes with analyst. Process recoveries on losses. Follow established policies and procedures, accurately and efficiently to meet team quality standards. Continually review daily workflow looking for improvements in production processing. Provide courteous, accurate and prompt assistance to coworkers or customers. Work flexible hours to support the department needs to include after hours and weekends, if necessary. Analyze and resolve technical problems quickly in a demanding environment while working with minimal supervision. Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible. Know and practice LOCBUTN, our Golden Rules, and Bell Bank Customer Service Standards. Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom line. Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations. All employees are responsible for information security, including compliance with policies and standards which protect sensitive information. Prompt and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Required:
High school diploma required; college preferred. Experience in card payments and bank operations preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, research, analytical and problem-solving skills is essential. Knowledge of and proficiency in using personal computers and related software programs including, but not limited to, Windows and Microsoft Office.
