Bonus Type Formula Based Summary The Personal Banker at our new Stillwater - Campus Corner Financial Center will be part of an exciting launch into a brandnew market. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, creating great first impressions, and building relationships with college students, faculty, and Stillwater residents. No prior banking experience is required. You'll begin your journey with our industryleading Banking Navigator program, a structured training experience designed to give you the skills, confidence, and support needed to succeed. Job Description The Personal Banker serves as a trusted resource for clients, delivering a welcoming, consultative experience while supporting deposit growth and relationship development. This highly visible, customerfacing role blends inbranch service with community and campus engagement. You'll be set up for success through our 9week Banking Navigator training program, which combines virtual learning, selfpaced eLearning, onthejob experience, and handson skill application with support from a dedicated success team.
Key responsibilities include:
Building relationships with students, faculty, staff, and local residents through meaningful, solutionfocused conversations. Assisting clients with everyday banking needs such as account opening, transactions, and product education. Identifying opportunities to deepen relationships by listening to client needs and connecting them with the right solutions. Representing BOK Financial during campus activities and local outreach alongside branch leadership. Supporting branch operations while following policies and risk guidelines. During your first nine weeks of employment, you will participate in a comprehensive training program. Please note that the training schedule may differ from your regular work schedule, and you may be required to train at a different location before being permanently assigned to a branch. How You'll Spend Your Time Client Experience:
You'll create a welcoming, positive experience for every client - whether they're opening their first account, asking questions, or stopping in between classes. You'll take the time to understand their needs and help them feel confident about their financial decisions.
Relationship Building:
You'll build relationships with students and community members by being visible, approachable, and engaged. This includes participating in campus activities, events, and local outreach alongside the team.
Sales and Growth:
You'll have consultative conversations that help clients choose the right products while supporting branch deposit and relationship goals. Success comes from curiosity, listening, and followthrough - not pressure.
Learning and Development:
You'll continue to build your banking knowledge through training, coaching, and realtime feedback, growing your confidence and capabilities in an earlycareer friendly environment.
Operational Support:
You'll follow procedures, manage transactions accurately, and support branch activity while keeping the client experience front and center. Education & Experience Requirements This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1+ years of sales or customer service experience; a college degree is a plus or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of consumer financial products and services Working knowledge of banking, retail sales operations and/or contact center operations including phone, email and chat support Excellent verbal communication skills; effectively and courteously providing customer information, resolving issues and building relationships to gain information by asking appropriate questions Excellent written communication skills demonstrated by professional etiquette, proper grammar and punctuation Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Ability to follow established standards and use judgment to determine when appropriate to escalate Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in order to reconcile accounts Working PC application skills including word processing and spreadsheet packages and the ability to learn to use various internal company systems Ability to complete multiple tasks at a time Excellent interpersonal skills including sales and client relations skills, both in-person and via telephone Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & under pressure, as needed Advertising Source BOK Financial Corporation Groupis a stable and financially strong organization that provides excellent training and development to support building the long term careers of employees.
