GED Full Job Description Summary:
Full-Time Monday-Friday, available some Saturdays Essential Job Functions Demonstrate Legacy Bank and Trust corporate values in all situations and interactions. Serve daily as lead teller performing basic and complex transactions. (Cash handling, balancing of drawers, vaults, coin machine, etc.) Open/close depository accounts and facilitate maintenance on existing accounts. Review for accuracy and compliance. Uncover needs and deepen customer relationships by identifying needs and recommending appropriate bank products. Assist in training and coaching branch retail staff on all retail functions. Possess knowledge of all banking products, including other lines of business within the bank. Stay current on new products, pricing, and cross-sell opportunities within retail and other departments of the bank. Serve as backup to branch management in leading and coaching branch retail team. Complete all required training as well as ABA assigned courses. Accept and process consumer loan applications, meet with loan customers, and act as a liaison between loan customers and loan officers as needed. Consistently provide exceptional customer service and appropriately manage customer complaints. Comply with bank policy, laws, and regulations. All other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies Strong cultural values Excellent verbal skills and customer service delivery The ability to handle multiple functions at the same time Quick independent decision-making skills Cash handling skills Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Two or more years of banking and/or sales experience
Physical Requirements Onsite Position Seeing :
Must be able to see well enough to see computer screen and read documents ( 75-100% of work time spent on activity ).
Hearing :
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors, and employees ( 75-100% of work time spent on activity ).
Sitting :
Must be able to sit for long periods of time ( 50-74% of work time spent on activity ).
Standing/Walking :
Must be able to move about office ( 75-100% of work time spent on activity ).
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling :
Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up paper products or materials ( 25-49% of work time spent on activity ).
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing :
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds ( 0-24% of work time spent on activity ).
Grasping/Feeling :
Must be able to write, type and use technical equipment ( 75-100% of work time spent on activity ).
