$20.15 per hour Our growing credit union is searching for detail-oriented team members to provide exceptional service to our members. This includes providing prompt, efficient and courteous service while processing transactions, answering questions and cross servicing. The Philadelphia Federal Credit Union is currently hiring for multiple locations throughout the City of Philadelphia. What You'll Be Doing… Greet members and guests to the credit union in a professional manner while providing general information, resolving member inquiries and cross selling products and services. Perform various member transactions including but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, certificate transactions, transfers, account maintenance, card requests and assistance with technological services. Examine checks for endorsement, negotiability, and potential scams and fraudulence. Assist members to open new accounts and advise potential members of credit union membership requirements. Originate, process, sign and disburse consumer loans. Support all branch sales initiatives to achieve sales goals. Perform miscellaneous back office duties and other tasks as assigned. What Qualifications You'll Need… Minimal High school Diploma or GED equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. A minimum of 12 months previous exposure to handling cash and dealing with the public, preferably in a financial institution. PC proficiency required, with strong skills in Microsoft Office. The ability to remain calm, friendly and professional through any and all situations. The ability to listen and assess needs of the member. The ability to follow instructions and directives. Well-developed sales skills(probing, supporting, overcoming objections and closing). Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Must be detailed oriented. Possess creative problem solving skills. Must be a team player. Must be available to travel from branch to branch as needed. Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Why Work For Us…

Ability to perform basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, decimals, etc.

Ability to read a variety of materials such as books, magazines, and instruction manuals. Ability to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Ability to communicate distinctly with appropriate pauses and emphasis, correct pronunciation, and variation in word order using present, perfect, and future tenses.
