We have an opening for Personal Banker II in our Lehighton located at 735 Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East, Lehighton, PA 18235 MCT is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Personal Banker II to join our retail banking team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys helping customers achieve their financial goals while building lasting relationships within the community. As a Personal Banker II, you will serve as a trusted financial resource for customers by providing exceptional service, opening and servicing accounts, assisting with lending solutions, identifying financial needs, and recommending products and services that help customers succeed. You will also play an important role in mentoring newer team members and supporting branch sales and business development efforts. What You'll Do Customer ServiceRelationship Management Deliver exceptional service to new and existing customers. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve account-related concerns professionally and efficiently. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive outreach and ongoing financial conversations. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services. SalesBusiness Development Open and service a variety of deposit accounts and banking services. Support branch sales initiatives and contribute to branch growth goals. Generate new business opportunities through referrals, relationship development, and community engagement. Cross-sell products and services that align with customer needs. Refer customers to specialized banking partners, including Wealth Management, Cash Management, Merchant Services, Mortgage Lending, and other business banking resources. Lending Support Assist customers with consumer and real estate-secured loan requests. Complete loan application documentation and support loan closing processes. Serve as a resource for team members on more complex lending requests. Teller Operations Perform teller transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain balancing and operational standards while adhering to bank policies and procedures. LeadershipTeam Support Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members. Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new Personal Bankers. Participate in sales coaching and branch development initiatives. Support branch marketing events and community activities.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2-4 years of personal banking or related financial services experience. Proven success selling and cross-selling banking products and services. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Intermediate computer and keyboarding proficiency.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of wealth management products and services. Experience with consumer and real estate-secured lending. Experience mentoring or training team members.
