Job Description

Job Summary A growing banking and consumer lending organization is seeking a Universal Banker for a direct hire opportunity in Charleston, SC. This role is ideal for a banking professional who enjoys a high-volume branch environment, values customer relationships, and can confidently support a wide range of branch banking needs. The Universal Banker will serve as a key point of contact for customers, assisting with transactions, account servicing, cash handling, product education, and branch operations. This is a strong opportunity for candidates with recent experience as a Universal Banker, Personal Banker, Bank Teller, Customer Service Representative, or similar banking role. The branch team values a positive attitude, clear communication, adaptability, and a willingness to step in wherever needed. Candidates who thrive in fast-paced customer-facing environments, bring strong problem-solving skills, and enjoy being part of a supportive branch team will be well positioned for success. Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other routine banking services.
  • Assist customers with account servicing needs, product education, and general banking inquiries.
  • Handle cash with accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance with established banking procedures.
  • Support daily branch operations in a high-volume environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Build positive customer relationships by listening, communicating clearly, and identifying appropriate banking solutions.
  • Collaborate with branch team members and contribute to a professional, service-focused, and team-oriented environment. Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $50,000 to $56,000 per year.
  • Job type: Direct hire.
  • Schedule requirement: Full-time availability.
