Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
This position is primarily responsible for the smooth and efficient deposit operations support for staff. Promotes team participation throughout the department and organization. Manages support for deposit operations to ensure staff and customer satisfaction and compliance with all policies and procedures. Performs tasks associated with processing customer transactions via telephone, fax, mail, and e-mail. This employee assists branch staff to offer the customer the highest degree of service and promotes all Alliance Bank's products and services.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1.
High School diploma or equivalency. 2. Ability to read, write and speak the English language, bilingual helpful. 3. Three (3) years' experience in banking or job-related field and one (I) year of training and/or education or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. 5. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to deal with and respond to employees, customers, third party vendors, and salespersons with tact, diplomacy, and a sense of urgency. 6. Ability to communicate well over the telephone using proper grammar and telephone etiquette and projecting eagerness and enthusiasm to the customer. 7. Ability to solve problems by considering multiple solutions to the same problem or multiple methods of arriving at a solution. 8. Ability to communicate, solve problems, work in a group, and promote cooperation within the group. 9. Ability to prioritize own tasks and responsibilities to ensure that excellent service to our staff and customers is accomplished before most administrative functions are processed. 10. Ability to handle multiple tasks within a prescribed time period and adapt to frequent or unexpected changes in work responsibilities or processes. 11. Ability to operate basic office equipment i.e., PC, printers, etc. with job related software. 12. Ability to handle bank and customer transactions with a high level of confidentiality. 13. Knowledge of state and federal regulations. 14. Knowledge of Alliance Bank's policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES 1.
Personify Alliance Bank's mission statement of The best in all we do. 2. Actively sell and cross-sell bank services. 3. Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service. 4. Promotes Alliance Bank's culture through all interactions. 5. Process business functions within Silverlake, Q2, Centrix, Fedline, Logic Path, Loomis, and other software or vendor sites. 6. May work NSF/Unposted and Chargeback job function. 7. May be responsible for all cash ordering processes for branches and ATMs. 8. May balance ATMs and research outages. 9. May work the Stop Pay/Suspect report. 10. Assist in check returns - Positive Pay, fraud, etc. 11. Provide support for the frontline; including, but not limited to - history reversals, cross apps, foreign items, etc. 12. Process all deposit account verification. 13. May work JH Suspense Corrections. 14. Document customer issues. 15. May assist with CDARS and IOLTA accounts. 16. May assist in working fraud disputes when needed. 17. May perform CIF review daily and assist with quality control for accounts. 18. Document customer issues. 19. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports for Deposit Operations. 20. Back up all job duties within the department for business continuity purposes. 21. Back up and assist the Electronic Payments Department when needed. 22. Assist with other duties as assigned by AVP Deposit Operations. 23. Keep updated on all Alliance Bank policies and procedures pertaining to position. 24. Attendance and punctuality a must.Job Type:
