The Lead Personal Banker is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the Retail Banker and Personal Banker areas of the bank. Additional responsibilities include training, scheduling, and daily Personal Banker/Retail Banker activities as needed. We have one opening at our Dresser, WI branch location. This is a full-time opportunity with hours ranging between 8:15AM-4:00PM Monday-Thursday and 8:15AM - 4:00 PM or 5:00PM Friday (closing rotation), along with a Saturday rotation schedule (approximately every fourth Saturday at our Somerset, WI branch location), 8:15AM-12:00PM. $7/hour shift differential for hours worked on Saturdays!
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years' experience in financial institution Personal Banker activities, preferred Excellent sales, interpersonal, and communication skills required; ability to work in a team environment, learn quickly, and apply knowledge as needed Strong knowledge of financial products and services Proficient in computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Ability to uphold confidentiality and customer privacy in all situations Lead Personal Banking duties and job functions: Responsible for leading Personal Banking initiatives and processes, including day-to-day activities such as; daily transaction processing, balancing, scheduling, training, vault, ATM, security, reporting/compliance responsibilities, and more Leads training and development initiatives for retail department staff with support from Retail Banking Supervisor/Retail Banking Manager Reports performance concerns to the Retail Banking Supervisor/Retail Banking Manager Has clear understanding of all deposit products and services offered at bank Has basic understanding of other financial services offered at bank Serves as knowledge/resource to support Personal Bankers and other retail department staff Has higher override authority level and will handle complex issues and problems Ensure adherence to all bank policies and procedures Provides extensive personalized service to depositors with specific or special banking needs Assists with opening, revising and closing all types of deposit accounts Provides account advice, including product suggestions, account research, and other information in a timely manner. Accurately completes new account paperwork and deposit account maintenance. Work with vendors for maintenance and supply needs for department Participate in internal and external audits as needed Order and shipping money for Fed Assist with Retail Banking duties as necessary Assist Retail and Personal Bankers when balancing issues come about using knowledge of common errors Answer phones as necessary based on branch needs Assist with Safe Deposit Box Entry Follows all directives of the First National Community Bank Retail Banker & Personal Banker Manuals Completes ongoing online training as assigned Other duties as assigned Competitive pay and benefit package offered for this position.Benefit options include:
