NonexemptPOSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing intermediate duties and support related to branch operational activities and financial services.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Processes all new account transactions; assisting customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services. 2. Cross-selling the Bank's products and services. 3. Opening, maintaining and closing of all account types. 4. Promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. 5. Required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in the areas of teller, vault, safe deposit boxes, and is required to provide leadership, training and support to less experienced New Account Representatives and other branch staff members. 6. Maintain compliance with applicable deposit regulations. 7. Continuous education through participation in banking association sponsored events 8. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with customer and Bank information. 9. Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers and co-workers. 10. Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the work flow. 11. Responsible for safeguarding sensitive customer information from cyber and other threats by following the Acceptable Use Policy and Code of Conduct/Ethics Policy. 12. Responsible for upholding the security and confidentiality of nonpublic personal information that is obtained from customers by following the Banks Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) Policy.SECONDARY DUTIES
1. Perform branch clerical duties. 2. Handle customer inquiries, refer customers, and work as a liaison between the other departments for issues that cannot be resolved at new accounts. 3. Assist customers in accessing safe deposit boxes. 4. May be responsible for Bank opening and/or closing. 5. Working knowledge of job applicable regulations and completion of required compliance training as assigned by the Bank. 6. Perform other duties as may be assigned by Management.TEAM/COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
Education- High school diploma or GED equivalent Experience
- 2-4 years' experience within a financial institution environment, recommended
- Previous cash handling and teller experience, required
- Continuous education through participation in banking association sponsored events Other Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong ethical standards with integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness in all professional relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage, direct, lead, follow, and coordinate the work of others
- Successful record of recognizing opportunities and cross-selling products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Competence with computers and 10-key calculator
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products
- Detail and results oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strategizes and collaborates with team members Performance Measures
- Meets or exceeds sales goals pre-established by management
- Compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Accuracy with handling money and customer transactions

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed largely within the Bank with limited chance for personal injury. Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration required. Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. Work hours are generally during normal business hours including Saturday mornings. Unscheduled morning, evening and additional weekend work maybe needed to meet the needs of customers and employees.GENERAL NOTICE
